Mr. Ashwani Kumar

He is the Founder and Director of ASAP SAFETY. He has a keen interest in the Environment and Society. He started with Humanities and decided to be a Social Activist. He has a Post Graduate Degree in Disaster Management from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and a Bachelor in Arts (Geography Honours) from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi.  At the postgraduate level, his interests became more focused. He started his professional career with a GIS-based Company, Innodata India Pvt. Ltd., as a GIS Executive and then moved towards the social sector starting to work with various NGOs and Govt. Department which basically work with projects on Disaster Risk Reduction, Emergency Response, Relief Management, WASH & Humanitarian works, and for Capacity Building Fund under Haryana Govt. and under Delhi Govt., in Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) as a Project Coordinator spanning 6 years of experience in all. He always strives towards developing cultural competency and awareness in the work. Serving the nation and contributing towards its growth has always been a priority in my life and career which provides a unique opportunity for young minds to be part of the exponential growth of the Nation.

Ms. Shikha Khewaria
(Co-Founder & Managing Director)

She is the Co- Founder & Managing Director, of ASAP SAFETY. She is Graduate in Commerce from University of Delhi and has advanced degree of MBA in HR. She is especially passionate about promoting the fulfillment of women’s potential through education, skill development, and employment, giving paramount importance to the elimination of poverty, illiteracy, and ill-health among women. She mainly focuses on water, sanitation, hygiene especially for women, on their neglected issues and needs like menstrual hygiene. Educating children about the drawbacks of the dowry system, and making sure that they inculcate the spirit to boycott it, is the long-term solution to the issue. To eradicate this evil, we need to learn and educate others about the ill effects of it and it can be achieved by providing equal rights to both genders.

Mr. Salek Chand
(Business Development Officer)

He is a Marine Engineer who has competency in Strategy Planning, Conceptual / Feasibility Studies, Contract Management, Operation & Maintenance, Vendor Management, Engineering Reviews, Inspection & Testing, HSE, and Compliance as well Training. He has undergone robust defense training & served the Indian Navy for more than 2 decades. He has strong engineering experience involving Operation, Maintenance & Repair of machinery & equipment. He is also an expert in Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Defense & Damage control including fire fighting systems. He holds the position of leader & educator in facility management for the last 15 years. He imparts training on safeties, technical equipment including fire fighting systems to his subordinates as well volunteers keeping the basic motto “Safety First” before doing any activity. He is an expert in management /coordinator in crisis during disaster /unforeseen situations
